Douglas Witmer, Part 1

Douglas is truly a multi-talented artist. In this first video we join him in his West Philadelphia studio, where he talks about his wood sculpture. He calls the series "Fruitville", which is named after a road in Lancaster County, PA where he grew up. Douglas also composed and played all the instruments in the soundtrack.

2001 Biennale, Florence Italy

I am often asked what I thought of participating in the Biennale in Florence. I guess it is like most things, it is what you make of it. This video definitely leans to the positive side of the experience. That could have something to do with the fact that my wife Lisa shot most of the video, and she is a very positive person. Did you know that Philadelphia is the Sister City of Florence?
