Susan Hagen, Carving Monuments, Part 2

Artist Judith Schaechter comments on Susan's army of soldiers. She also unveils a newly completed stained glass artwork.

Susan Hagen, Part 1

Besides the enjoyment we get from the craft and beauty of Susan's work, she does something more for us, she makes us think. She says her new series of carved wood soldiers are small scale monuments to those in the military.

In the video she talks about the war in Iraq, women in the military and how the idea of creating a mini-army came to her.
